The Suhr Classic S is inspired by an old friend with modern specs and hardware. It shares similarities such as a lightweight paulownia body and a 3A Roasted Birdseye maple neck with roasted maple fingerboard. But if you look closer, it has some clever upgrades and adjustments. On the 60's vintage profile neck you feel exactly what you want to feel, but the radius is compound. It goes from 9"-12" which makes it much easier and smoother for soloing or laying accents higher up the neck. De V63 pickups gives you those classic strat sounds, but a lot of players were missing a little bit of extra boost when soloing, that is why Suhr equip this guitar with a DSV in the bridge for those hard rock tones or boost when soloing. It is easy to say that this guitar does it all, but if you are looking for a S-style guitar which can cover a lot of playing styles, yeah this guitar can handle it.
