1962 was a benchmark year for the Stratocaster® guitar. Five years of experimentation after the famous '57 model culminated in another pivotal year for the Stratocaster. The American Vintage '62 Stratocaster recalls the vibe of its Kennedy-era ancestor, with features including a capped rosewood fingerboard, three-ply aged white pickguard and special '57/'62 pickups. This guitar is in good condition and has lived through many gigs and shows. The back of the neck has been sanded by Kauffmann for a non stick feel. As seen on the pictures it has some heavy players wear and tear. The 3-way switch has been replaced by the original 5-way and the 3-way is included. Schaller strap buttons. The frets are in good condition and still has a little bit of meat on them. The guitar is fully checked and set up with fresh D'addario 0.10 XS and includes the original hard case and case candy.
