Vemuram have thoroughly researched Char's personal Klon Centaur, which he especially selected and used for a long period of time. In addition, at Vemuram they researched multiple Klon Centaur’s which one of the units was said to be the “best” sounding unit. They've also focused on the boost/gain of the Roland CE-1 and the Watkins Copicat. Combining the boost/gain with Char's overdrive, they proceeded with the development of this pedal to reflect those sound nuances.  As a result: maybe one of the best overdrive with boost pedals out there. A perfect homage to the Klon Centaur.
