The Trem-o-meister is a 20-watt 1×12 combo combining a big, refined clean tone with lush tube-driven harmonic tremolo and transformer-coupled spring reverb. The preamp is voiced in the direction of the classic Dumble clean sound, delivering a full, open and articulate response with plenty of harmonic detail, a solid low end and excellent touch sensitivity.A fixed-bias pair of 6V6S power tubes gives the amp much of its character. Clear and lively at cleaner settings, the output stage gradually adds sweetness, harmonic richness and natural compression as it is pushed. The result is an expressive power section that responds beautifully to both pick attack and the guitar’s volume control.The harmonic tremolo provides the deep, swirling movement that sets this type of modulation apart from conventional amplitude tremolo. Used subtly it adds space and movement around the notes; at stronger settings it becomes deep, pulsing and almost three-dimensional.
