Utilising new technology created by Thomas of Cream T Pickups it is now possible to scan, profile and recreate 100% replicas of legendary guitar pickups. Cream T have set out to revolutionise the pickup market using the ‘Oracle Pickup Scanner.…and what better place to start than with original '59 Les Paul guitars. The result is a set of humbucker pickups that sound exactly the same as the pickups in a 1959 Les Paul. In 2018 Cream T visited a collector to scan the pickups in his original 1959 Les Paul. Under controlled conditions the original 1959 pickups were measured at k in the bridge and k in the neck. The magnet strength was also measured to ensure a clone that equals the tone of the original pickup.
