GUITAR LESSON
Congratulations! You have just become a guitarist. Maybe not a very good guitarist yet. But you play the guitar and so you belong to the club of guitarists. Now all you have to do is learn to play better. Here’s one tip in advance.
Find a guitar that suits you. How? Simply with your eyes and ears. Start by looking at which one you like. Ask someone to play it for you and listen. And get advice on quality from a good guitar store.
Guitar lessons are a fun way to quickly find your way around the guitar. Moreover, taking lessons ensures regularity and, if you need it, a motivator. And a good teacher will regularly challenge you with songs that are just that little bit more difficult. This way you make progress while you are just playing.
Start right away with songs you like. And that is really not so difficult. There is an easy version of almost every song. And you can find almost everything online for free.
If you play 10 minutes every day, you learn faster than if you play two hours every week. And if you keep it fun (tip 2) those 10 minutes will soon grow into half an hour or more.
The sooner you start playing with others the more fun it will be. Preferably play with people who are better than you. Then you will learn the fastest.
